Advice on bedtime

2 year old (25 months) has recently (last two weeks) dropped her nap Shock. Bedtime is now 7 (was 7.15) and she is out like a light generally, unlike before when she would chat in her cot for an hour and half, her wake time now seems to be about 7.30am, before it was 6.30 so overall at the moment she seems to be getting the same amount of sleep but just in one block. She is very tired by the time bedtime comes around and is virtually asleep in my arms, what time bedtime do you think I should be aiming for?? Guess it's just trial and error maybe...

I don't understand the problem? If she's getting enough sleep and getting to sleep isn't a problem I would just carry on. Being tired by bedtime is normal and as long as it's not causing behavioural issues I wouldn't worry.

I guess you are right! By about four she is becoming very upset though but perhaps that's not tiredness!

that was what the 3.30 Cbeebies stuff was for Grin - snuggle up on the sofa, nice rest 3.30 to 4, gets rid of the grumbles before teatime.
