Asking to wear nappies ...

Just started to PT DS today and he's said he wants to wear nappies tomorrow. Do we force it and make him wear pants or put the potty away for a month or so?

Today we had about 4 puddles on the floor but he did manage to go in the potty twice - directly after the accidents so maybe 'leftovers' - hasn't realised he needs to go til it's too late.

He's 33 months.

Thanks

ps. don't want to force it and scare him off.

What about if you leave him in nappies but explain that you would still like him to use the potty when he needs to go?

OR nappies out and pants in the house so he feels safer?
