My 6yr old is over 4.5ft tall. I'm 5'3" and the top of her head is just under my chin.
Her weight is appropriate for her height.
I had her height/weight measured but the print out is "somewhere safe" so apologies for the vagueness.
Legally she is tall enough to not need a car seat and her current car seat and booster are no longer designed for someone her size (only thought to check this a week or so ago after someone commented about her height - again).
So, although legally, she doesn't need anything, should she in reality?
Is she more at risk in a slightly too small car seat than no car seat given her height?
Do they do bigger car seats?
At 12 they don't need car seats but she is nowhere near 12!
