Just looking for people's experiences of taking a toddler out for the day without a buggy. I don't drive and most of the train stations and nice walking places near us aren't accessible with a pram. But I'm going a bit mad with boredom over the summer with no groups on and just going to the park or walking into town every day. Ds is 28 months and happy enough to walk (normally!) though very slowly and wants to examine every pebble. But it's not like we'll be going anywhere in a hurry. I'm currently 31 weeks pregnant though so can't really carry him far or carry too much gear in a rucksack on my back. Am I crazy to consider day trips without buggy with just me and ds or is this a fairly normal thing to do?! I wouldn't be walking for miles due to being pregnant and knackered myself!
