Young babies- whats your sleep/feeding routine?

Dd is 9 weeks old and bottle fed. So far we have a very loose routine- she sleeps pretty well at night, less so at day and I know she needs 6 bottles a day. I want to start getting a bit more structure to our days in next few weeks but not really sure yet what that will look like. So I was just wondering what (if any) routines you were using for sleeping and feeding?

We did the baby whisperer EASY. Eat, awake time, sleep and you time. It worked well and I plan to do the same for DC2.

I just googled for the routines, although there is a book. I also didn't stick religiously to it, just used it as a guide

We are not so much into routine yet either. 9.5 weeks. LO doesnt fall asleep himself, needs to be either BF or bounced, but he sleeps well in the night waking to feed once or twice. However, he doesnt have a routined bed time - sometimes is still up with me at 11pm and i wonder if this is going to become an issue later. Im quite happy how it is working out now but would be interested in views on routines.

I have a 10 week old and no set routine yet either as seems to change about each week!

At the moment however I am feeding on demand (formula feeding) 180mls. She takes full bottle sometimes during the day, I'd say she gets hungry every 3 hours roughly. This used to be 2 but changed to 3 2 weeks ago.

During the night, her last feed is usually around 8pm-10pm approximately (whenever she cries for bottle) and I give her gripe water with last feed to help settle her tummy for night.

She is slowly (I hope!) getting into sleeping through night. She still wakes in early hours but offering her a dummy puts her back to sleep and it's usually 3/4am she has feed. (I used to get her bottle straight away but find dummy buys another hour or two and hopefully this will cease eventually) Then next one usually 6amish, followed by me lying her on big bed beside me (partner away to work) and we doze together til 8amish.

At that age I had moved on from completely on demand bottle feeding to offering a bottle every three hours.

It was brilliant, you could set your watch by DS! He started sleeping through quite soon after, but even before then it was good to know I would only be woken up at most every 3 hrs during the night.

He's weaning now (10mo) so we're down to 3 big bottles a day.
