Best remedy for colic?

Have tried so far:
Infacol - baby won't take it
Gripe water - it doesn't do anything
Colief - not sure of it works after used it for over a week and don't see any significant change to be honest.

Have also bought Gaia probiotic drops which I haven't given to the baby yet as was hoping colief will help...
She's is 5 weeks and mix fed.

What else can I give her? Are there any natural remedies? Any suggestions welcome.

Colic is horrible to watch isn't it. We found a warm bath helped, not ideal at 3am but desperate to try anything!!
We've now been told ds could be milk protein intolerant and he is on different prescribed milk. We tried all the over the counter remedies and had gone to gp as last resort. Might be worth looking into x

Dd had really struggled with colic. Infacol didnt mix well with her and kept making her sick. Couldn't give her gripe water as she has kidney problems. We ended up having to just ride it out (i know thats not really an answer you want to hear!) try to keep her sat up as much as possible thats the advice we were given and it does help. The bouncer we have tilts forward slightly so dd wasnt laid down as much.

It does get better though!

We did everything we could think of. Feed with baby sitting up. Keep her upright as much as possible, lots of time in the sling. Baby massage. Cranial osteopath. Lots of burping. Dd's dietician now thinks the colic could have been a dairy intolerance (I ate a lot of chocolate!) so that might be worth checking out.

Going in for measurements appointment Thursday so will speak to Gp about it.

Keep head above stomach at all times
Prop up cot with towels
Never lie flat even when nappy changing

Try madication on a spoon pressing lightly for a few secs - it make them swallow it

Sorry to say, but it just gets better as baby gets bigger.

Dentinox drops is the only thing that worked here!! Also changed to Dr Brown bottles but biggest help was Dentinox I stopped using it after a few weeks and she's fine now at 13 weeks. It does get better I posted a thread in desperation when she was only a few weeks old and kept being told it won't last forever etc which at the time didn't make me feel any better but now that seems like a lifetime ago and a different baby. Hope things improve soon

It's get some better as they get bigger because they are awake more and held upright more

The muscle in the stomach maybe slightly open and acid rises when lying flat - this stops at 6 months when baby is upright sitting and not asleep straight after a feed, the muscle will close as they get bigger

It's not different to heart burn in pregnancy

Are you FF? If so try some anti colic bottles, we use mam bottles. Along with colief the colic has disappeared (touch wood!),

We had some success with the baby probiotics - Biogaia and baby bio. I think baby bio worked better for us.

Is it definitely not silent reflux? In which case you can get medicine to help. Also will your LO take a dummy?
