Lost ds2 teddy today... feel awful

Ds2 got given a bear factory teddy when he was a few months old - last year - and has been inseparable from him since then. Today in Watford ds2 chucked said teddy out of pushchair between the till in the basement of John Lewis, and level 4 Kings car park. When I wen to lift him out eh car - no teddy!!! We retraced our footsteps and couldn't find or see it. DS2 had even started saying "teddy" (well in his own way). In tears I went to customer services in the shopping centre and in John Lewis. I have left my name and number with both.

I went to bear factory and ds2 got to choose a new bear and saw it being made. But its not Teddy!! I feel so awful, I just hope a Mummy or a Daddy found it and will hand it in to the lost property places. I could still cry now thinking about it. Ds2 is having a nap with teddy2 but I feel so bad. He even had his photo taken with it at his official birthday photos. Please if anyone in Watford found it, it is a creamy white 15" teddy much loved and missed.

deegward could you post a link to the photo and maybe someone on here will have one they could let you have? It has worked several times before

It breaks my heart when these things happen. We had to buy a new ELC Swindon Bear for DS when this happened and now he is not allowed out of the house at all. I know how you feel and it is awful.

I do hope you find him.

ds1 has a bear called Bert. He's one of those little Avon Breast cancer bears with the skin like shammy leather. I think we're now on Bert3 because of various incidents. I still have two spares in the cupboard just in case and he's five. They only cost £2 so well worth keeping some spares.

i hope u find him. dd's has bear factory teddies and altho they arent the favourite toys they have they do like to cuddle them. i find them soft and cuddly too, i gave dd2 one a hug the other day cos i found it by my bed and felt like having a hug and dd2 was asleep.
