I'm trying to potty train my son at the moment, but am having a few problems. he will sit on the toilet and tell me that his wee wee isn't coming, then he will put on his pull ups and do a wee! If he wears 'big boy pants' he will hold his wee in all day and not go until he gets in the bath or gets his nappy on for bed. I'm worried that he will cause himself some harm by holding it in all day. I've tried reward charts....and bribery!! I've now told him that the easter bunny is going take all his pull ups and will leave him lollipops instead!!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated, this doesn't seem to be a very common problem.

Believe me it is! Just persevere (sp?) or give up and try again in a month or so. I had exactly the same problem with ds and I know a lot of my freinds did too. There is no right answer and he will do it when he feels ready Encourage hm to watch you or your dh/dp and if you can get him to watch his friends that are toilet trained. Good luck
