Hi all, I'm just looking for some advice on how you coped becoming single parents? I have an 11 month old and i judt cannot bare being with her dad any longer but im so scared to leave because i dont want to move back in with my mum but not sure i could afford to live alone. I work 30 hours a week earning just under a grand a month so i dont have to pay too much child care. What would i be entitled to? Feel so miserable any advice would be great!

Have a look here to see what you are entitled to. It might also be worth posting in lone parents Smile

If you go on entitled to website that would give you a rough idea. On 20 hours a week I get wtc and ctc of around 220 that is obviously with my childcare element too, next month it will go down as my dd starts school.
