Want to try them for DS who is 20months and a big boy (he is about 35lbs with a waist of 53cm). Not sure about whether to get 18month-3years or a 3year+. How tight are the sizes?

Thanks xxx

They're quite nice. My ds1 is 2 and sometimes uses his potty but he is still in nappies. My ds2 is 1 and he hates having his nappy changed. He just won't lie still.

Yes, I have tried a swaddlebees stuffable to use as a pull up but he just soaks through it before he has finished a wee!!

We have only started because he keeps getting bad nappy rash and while we were letting him run around to help heal it he asked to go afew times. He is not that reliable about asking to go to the toilet though, especially when in a nappy so it really needs to be a nappy as well as an 'accident catcher'.

generally minki sizing is on the large side. my 28lb 2 yr old still fits into his medium standard minkis.
would imagine that the yo-yo sizing is similar

you lot cant have any if they materialise from anyone!!! i posted weeks ago with 'minkis wanted!'

Dont worry ladyoftheflowers, was going to buy it either from thenappylady or straight from the minki web page. Unless anyone knows anywhere else that sells them?

My son needed the XL 3yrs+ size at age 2. He was around 32lb at the time.
The lycra bits at the side make them close fitting. We found them quite hard to pull up and down.

Are these nappies a good investment if you are in between using the potty and nappies still? I put my son in pants sometimes but he still has accidents.

I have emailed minki and the lady there said she could add an extra set if popers and make the arms longer so I am going to try one!

Thanks for the help.
