Which nappys and wipes do you use? How much are they? And how long do they last you?

I've been trying to figure this out myself for nearly a year and just keep going back and forth 😂😂

I use pampers (because they've been the best so far and honestly I can afford to) but Aldi are also very very good and half the price (although pampers on half price at Tesco now)

Co-op and tescos own were rubbish

princessachica · 05/08/2017 14:17

Tesco nappies are sooo rubbish how long does one pack of pampers last you ? And which wipes do you use ?

Try different ones.
Personally I don't like pampers at all (smell funny and seem to leak more than most).
Chicco are much better imo.
I thought Aldi mammia (sp?) were great but there isn't one near me.
Ocado are good, as are Waitrose essentials.
I liked Co-op ones!
Can't get on with Lidl - always bloody leak - yet they have a mumsnet recommendation. Didn't like Tesco.
Naty are very good and more eco but also expensive.

I think it depends on the size/shape of your baby's bottom :-)

We use pampers at night and when out and about as I find them slightly more absorbant. Aldi the rest of the time and they really are pretty good for the price. I use Aldi sensitive wipes

kel1234 · 05/08/2017 14:21

I've only ever used pampers wipes and nappies and only ever would.
When ds has a sore bottom from teething I use water wipes, which really help.

sourpatchkid · 05/08/2017 14:26

Aldi wipes. Much better than others I've tried

YouRat · 05/08/2017 14:29

Any that's on sale. Best ones are imo Pampers nappy pants. Aldi wipes.

princessachica · 05/08/2017 14:33

I liked Aldi size 1 and 2 nappies and their wipes. Their size 3 nappies were not as good.

I just use Tesco wipes now as that is where I shop. I use pampers baby dry mostly and their pull ups for after swimming.

Summerdays2014 · 05/08/2017 15:39

Pampers pull up nappies (18 month old will not lie still for changing) or Asda normal ones. Both are great. Always used water wipes. Expensive - £2.50 a pack, but good.

Cutesbabasmummy · 05/08/2017 18:23

Aldi and Lidl are both great.

Cutesbabasmummy · 05/08/2017 18:23

Oh and aldi, Lidl or Tesco wipes

snackarella · 05/08/2017 19:22

I use pampers and probably use about 5/6 a day for my 18 mo.
Wipes I used water wipes up until a year but now I just use supermarket own as we get through so many from
Nose wipes and food mess!

Emma2803 · 06/08/2017 00:13

At the minute for my two year four month ds I use lidl nappies and wipes. Find them fantastic, never any issues, been using about a year. On size 6 at the minute, 20 in a pack £3.49, use average 3/4 nappies per day. They have a special offer every two months where they are £1.65 a pack and I try to stock up then.

Prior to that I used tesco and only changed cos they were bursting /leaking gel crystals if they were very wet as my toddler moved about. I did find they had a funny smell if wet too long so used pampers at night.
No be honest I begrudge the cost of pampers for my child to pee and poo in when I find other nappies as good.

IceWithASlice1 · 06/08/2017 00:22

I stick to pampers now as I tried Aldi and Little Angels but they always leaked for my DC. I really like Aldi wipes though.

LeonoraFlorence · 06/08/2017 00:29

I've always used pampers and waterwipes. 5 DDs and no issues with them :)

pitterpatterrain · 06/08/2017 00:32

PFB: Pampers
DC2: Asda all the way

thethoughtfox · 06/08/2017 08:58

Pampers nappies. I read somewhere that Pampers are better for girls and Huggies for boys. Never had a leak with Pampers. Try Amazon family where they send you a huge box regularly so you never run out and no more expensive that buying in the shops; might even have been cheaper. Tesco fragrance free wipes: dd had delicate skin with baby eczema and never had a problem with these wipes. Huggies wipes are weird and are somehow dry and fall apart when you use them. You will often see them on offer.

JohnLapsleyParlabane · 06/08/2017 09:00

Reusables. Never had a poo leak.

Bluebelltulip · 06/08/2017 17:19

Going against others, I use Tesco nappies and wipes and didn't like pampers.
