Life coaching to be a better parent

I have been thinking about trying this for some time, have found lots of positive testimonials on the web, but just wondered -- does it ever go wrong? It seems awfully expensive and before I commit myself I want to reassure myself it's the right thing for me. Anyone on here tried it (for parenting or anything else) and how did you find the coach that was right for you?

i will be your coach for free, step 1 -stop taking crack. step 2 - remember where youve left the children .step 3 - take all your parenting books /magazines to the recycling. step 4 - get out the feltpens and paper ,sit down and spend 10 minutes drawing with them and i bet they will appreciate it just as much as if you spend £££££ on psychobabble.

the authors of 'how to talk so your chi will listen and listen so they will talk' etc. have a pack for doing coaching yourself with a group of other parents. You dont need any experience.
