Parents & leaving a will

Hi This is more along the lines of parenting and wills.
My father has remarried 3 years ago but has not produced a will. 10 years ago he made one with his ex wife on this with his children. Can this one still apply if no other will has been written??

I have a vague idea that marriage invalidates a will; don't know what divorce does
