I am finding it a real pain in the arse! I have managed to apply for my eldest child but he is about to start school so it's more my younger child I need it for. However, at first they said they held no records for her. I then realised that I should have filed paperwork for child benefit even though we are not eligible to receive it.
I filed the paperwork and waited. Now the website is saying my application has been declined because they hold multiple records for my child - WTF does that mean??? It's all just such a convoluted rigmarole.
Is anybody else finding it a huge hassle?
