I intend to prewash my nappies 3 times, do I need to use washing powder each time? and does it matter what setting its on i.e 4o/60

I only used powder the first time, and then only a tiny bit. I think 40 degrees is fine.

I'd do them without powder after the first time (if that) and as cool as you like.

I used washing powder, but only about a thrid of the amount I would use for cleaning, then just rinse then next couple of times. 40 should be fine I think - they're clean (for now!!) so you don't need to kill off any nasites

I use about 1/4 amount of powder for just the first wash. Only at 40, and you don't have to dry between washes
