Sucking hand

My baby sucks her hand constantly, she puts her hand into a fist and puts her fingers into her mouth.
Was wondering if other mums babies have done this and why they do it? Is it because their teething maybe?

My dd did this- hmmm I think she was about four months when it started and it didn't matter how much I fed her, she would do it all the time so knew it wasn't a hunger cue. It turned out it was just that she had discovered her hands. She stopped as soon as she discovered she had feet and then they went in her mouth.
