The new third child benefits scheme what is it ? That the third child gets no benifits at all or that the third child don't get child benefits but still get tax credit or doesn't get child tax but gets child benefits?? Confused

If you have a 3rd (or more) child born AFTER April 2017 you won't get any extra tax credits or housing benefit. You should still get child benefit.

You will get child benefit for the third child, but no extra tax credits for them. So you can only claim for two.
