School run service for child with possible Asperger's

Hi, I'm struggling to find a suitable arrangement for school drop off/pick up for my 6 year old boy. He has been referred for an assessment for Asperger's, but as yet no diagnosis. I live quite far from the school - about an hour's drive in rush hour. (I did try to move schools to somewhere nearer, but my ex prevented me.) My son spends some time with his Dad so I only have 5 pick ups/drop off to handle. At the moment an au pair does 2 and I do 3. I work full time and can just about manage this with a combination of flexible hours and after school care. My DS does not like Breakfast Club as too noisy/unstructured. Au pair is going at the end of this month. Plus DS really has found it difficult - she has no special needs experience and he finds her accent hard to interpret, on top of the usual problems with tone of voice. Currently looking for a nanny/babysitter with special needs experience who can do a couple of school runs but no luck. I work full time and cannot afford otherwise - my ex has not paid child support for months and CMS are very slow at sorting it out. Has anyone had experience of using a school run service? For a child with autism/Asperger's? At this age? I feel like it would be okay if it was the same person every day, but don't know if that is the norm. Other suggestions please? I am registered with childcare.com But that is it. I have nothing planned for September... help!
