Hi guys, Id love to hear from moms who went back to uni while having 2 young kids and no family support?

We're thinking of relocating so I can study. Kids will be 5 and 2 years old.

Hi, I have currently just finished my college course and will be going to uni in next few months I have a son 7 and a daughter 1. I work also. Go for it! I always think few years I'll be qualified and doing my dream job. I love my kids and want to spend as much time with them as I can, so make it extra special when I have days off. Happy mum happy kids Smile. Good luck

Depends on the course & how much support your DH can give you.

I have a 5 year old & a 2 year old & went back 2 uni last year with no support at all. It was tough but i managed but then, i tend to thrive under pressure. Go for it girl

Mine are slightly older (5&7) but I'm thinking of retraining as a teacher.
It's an 18m course to covert my degree to a teaching degree.
Still not sure if I should do it or not!

I have an interview to start nursing degree this Sept and having a nervous breakdown!!! Dh and I r in the middle of a divorce but I do have white alot of support but I'm so worried I'll struggle with the financial side and the childcare. I have 2 DC 6 and almost 3

I completed a degree part time whilst doing a full time job and bringing up 2 children 7 and 2 at the time. I can't say it was all plain sailing and I did have hubby to help altho he worked full time too. I didn't want to detriment my relationships with my dc's so started uni work when they went to bed however in the last year this resorted to if you want me for anything it'll have to be before 8pm as after that I'm studying and you'll have to ask dad. It was tough at times particularly around deadline days but am proud to say I achieved a first.
If you are committed then go for it ...it can be done
