How to pack for travel with kids

Me and my family are thinking of going to Asia on this summer vacation and I have no idea what should be taken and what not. Especially for my 5 year old son and 8 year old daughter. Any ideas?

Enough outfits for at least 2 a day for your kids. Shoes. Toiletries and creams. Plasters and painkillers. Toys.

I just hope the sun would not be too warm for them. Any recommendations on sun block for kids?
