Please tell me it's just a phase...

My 2yo spends his time screeching and screaming. He's so loud it's actually embarrassing! I hate being out and about with him because ALL he does is f*cking scream. Please tell me that this won't last forever! I feel like such a bad mother but for the past few months I've been looking forward to the end of the day so that I can put him to bed and not listen to the screeching anymore Sad

I tell him sssshhh, too loud, cover my ears, try to distract him...but he just SCREAMS. All the time!

How much do you interact with him? Not just being there, but reading, playing, etc.

Have you tried pretending you can't hear him when he screams? I do that with whining and it seems to work.
