Hi! First time posting!
My lg is 23 wks and is quite a grumpy baby. In between leaps we get a few days where she is quite easy going but mainly she is quite cranky! Nothing medically wrong, doctor & hv described her as an intense baby! She gets overwhelmed easily & frustrated when she cannot do something, also not keen on being held unless moving about. We are following a sleep & feed guide but is grumpy when she has had good or bad sleep! I know she will grow out of this phase & probably be quite an intense little person but wondered if anyone's else's little one is the same?! Thank you x

We hen you say that you are following a feed and sleep schedule, is this her schedule? Just asking as some babies prefer to find their own way instead of following a schedule prescribed by someone else Smile

Thank you! You could be right although she was catnapping for only 40 mins at a time before the guide and was massively more upset. It's pretty spot on with when she starts shows her sleepy cues etc but it's something that I could experiment with maybe to see if it helps x

DS2 is almost 2 now and getting much more cheerful but I would definitely describe him as being a grumpy baby. He fed constantly, when he wasn't feeding he was crying. He cried if people other than me held him, he cried in the pushchair, the car seat, the high chair. We just adapted, I watched lots of box sets and fed him, we did lots in the local area so journeys were short.
He has got much more cheerful as he's got older. More willing to go to others, loves playing and going to toddler groups. He is still quite demanding but it's easier to break the day up into activities he likes and easier to get a break as he'll go to others. He still hates anything involving a buckle so cries in the high chair, pushchair and car seat still but can sometimes be distracted! It does get better!

Thank you Coconut0il! It's good to hear that they aren't always so grumpy! I'm really hoping that as she can do a bit more (sitting on her own & crawling) she will be happier. x
