Breastfeeding in wrap

I have stretchy fabric baby wrap - it's the type that just consists of a long piece of fabric. Does anyone breastfeed with their baby in a wrap and does anyone have any tips for doing this please?

I've just purchased a Hana wrap for when my baby arrives; tried one on at a sling library. When I was there I'm pretty sure that I heard someone say they don't recommend you feed while the baby is in it. May be worth finding your local sling library Facebook group, they're great with advice x

OK, thanks for the reply. Maybe I'll have to give up on that.
Was thinking of toddler groups with my nearly two year old.

I fed my youngest in a stretchy wrap a few times when he woke up and started screaming for a feed or he was trying to get to sleep and I was out walking the dog or somewhere I couldn't actually stop x

I did this - not totally hands free but enough to keep one hand free for toddler. I used to take baby out and sort of cradle him in one cross of the wrap holding my hand on his back if that makes any sense. I'm not sure it's an official way but it worked. There might be demos on You tube you can have a look at for ideas.

We've now progressed to feeding in the ergo - so feeding sitting up but they need to be a bit older for that.

I fed DC2 countless times in a wrap like the one you describe, it was very convenient.

Thanks all! I will try the method tepidcat describes. I tried with her upright in the sling earlier, but pushed down a bit. I stopped because she didn't seem that comfortable. She's only 3 weeks.
