4 week old and short naps

Help !!!!! My DS is 4 weeks old and the last few days he has only been taking 30 mins if he naps at all. Help I've tried everything, black out blinds, white noise, pushing in pram, swing, dummy etc. I need to cuddle him to sleep but then will wake up after 30 mins and I've put him down. The last 2 days he has eventually conked out at 3pm and had a big nap, I am exhausted by constantly trying to put him to sleep. Please help me as I have DD5 who I need to entertain. My DS and he are totally miserable. Xxx

Have you tried swaddling him in a light muslin? It might make him feel like he's still being held. It's a tricky one in summer though.
