Looking at 3 month old sleeping routines, and my little girl wakes at around 630am feeds, then sleeps until next bottle about 3 hours later then bottle then sleep, pretty much how she goes and there are periods where she more awake in the afternoon, she does not sleep through around 5.5 hours at night she goes, what should I do,

I don't understand the question?
Is their something wrong with her sleep ?
Lots of 3 month olds don't sleep through .
5.5 hours is a great stretch at night for this Age

No I just been looking online and shouldn't have really and worrying that she is taking bottle, then sleeping most of the day that's what she does! With a period of being awake early evening then put her to bed after last bottle and she does about 5.5 hours

So she has bottles every four hours, so she take bottle, sleep until next one and so on with period of being awake early evening for around 3 hours ish

This is totally normal for a 3 month old. My son didn't sleep through till he was nearly 2 years old.

I've noticed you posting a lot of these type of questions OP. Maybe you had unrealistic ideas of what a newborn is like?

Think yourself lucky! All my DD did was cry and feed for the first 4 months! Until then the longest she ever slept was 2 hours! She still doesn't sleep through now at 7 months, although the constant crying stopped, thank god haha

Vics100pink · 10/07/2017 11:15

Ahhh oh no that's not good, I know what a newborn is, but you hear what others are doing at baby groups and stuff and you start questioning yourself and your baby and wondering if it's right

I'd question what others are saying and if it's true or not OP. Sometimes people lie about how good their little bundle of joy is. I don't know why, I'd rather have a good moan then pretend things were perfect and a breeze haha!

True, it's just people at my baby group with baby same age as my 3 months old said their baby sleeping through and only sleep 3 times in the day for hour at a time and through the night

My DD is 7Months, she gets up anywhere between 5-6.30am. She has usually three naps during the day 2-3 hours after she gets up. One of these is a 1.5-2 hour nap, the other two are 45 mins to an hour. She goes to bed between 6.30-7.30pm and usually wakes up or grumps 2/3 times until we go put her dummy back in. Maybe twice a week she wakes enough to want a feed during the night.

When she was 3 months she was on a constant cycle of awake for 3 hours, feed, sleep 1-2 hours, awake, feed, sleep. It was gruelling to say the least!
