God I loved it so much.

Learnt SOOOO much and gained some really valuable experiences there.

The last five weeks have just flown by, Have done lots of interesting things- On psychiatric ward with extremely unwell people, been with Forensic Child and Adolescent unit, Mother and baby unit, substance misuse, homeless mental health team, home treatment, assertive outreach, early intervention.. LOADS of Things!......

Its been amazing- I love Mental Health, Have decided to continue with it as my branch choice. Really looking forward to experiencing all of the above in more depth over the next 2 yrs at uni.

Yep thanks to my dad and brother missed it so much, although between you and me, since I got back online I have wondered why the hell I did miss it so much.

My friend had to do a nursery placement and even though it is childrens nursing she wants to do, she still wasn't happy and she only did 2 weeks. The uni's reason was that she had to experiance a placement with children who were well and not just ill children.
Fair enough, but she has 2 kids of her own so she knows what well children are like.

thats the same reason that they gave us. Im absolutely dreading five thats FIVE!! weeks in a nursery.

wish I could get out of it somehow!!!

glad you are back btw!
