Birthday help

What are 6yr old girls in to these days? My god daughters birthday coming up in 3 weeks and I have no idea what to buy her?

She isn't spoilt, but she does have everything she needs. Her parents have a savings account for her, so I could give money, but I feel it is impersonal and would like to give her something which she will love.

TIA

You need to ask her parents really. Or her.

All 6 year old girls are different so it's tricky to predict what she'd like.

A lot of 6 year old girls like crafts and they're usually a good present because they can be used up and don't clog up the house forevermore. Impossible to say if this specific 6 year old girls likes crafts though and which crafts she'd like. Mine really liked stamps and ink at that age, Melissa and Doug do nice sets.

I have of course asked her mum who suggested not to buy her anything as she has enough already (apologies I should have put in the original post)

God daughter her self said 'im not sure' :-/

I'd probably listen to her mum then.

Could you take her out for tea and cakes/cinema/bowling or something as a birthday treat?

Or go with cash or a voucher.

My DS is turning 6 soon and he loves the idea of having his own money, although he doesn't really understand the value of it beyond how many 1p sweets he can get for any given amount of money. Could maybe give her £5 or £10 shiny new pound coins in a nice purse? Make her feel grown up. Maybe with some chocolates/sweets to open as well.

Thanks for the help.

I think giving her own bag/purse and money is great option. She's a smart kid and it will be lovely for her to feel more grown up.

My dd has so many bags and purses. Six year olds just don't use them really, play with them for five minutes
