HELP - Totsbots - Aplix or Popper?

I'm going to purchase some tots bots bamboozles - which are the best fastenings? Aflix or popper?

I have popper and aplix nappies, although they are not totsbots.

Poppers - dont snag or stick in the wash, but are harder to do up on a wriggly baby, and the fit is not as snug.

Aplix/velcro - does snag on things in the wash, even if you fold it back properly, but is easier to do up in a hurry on my wriggly DS, and ensures a better fit.

I would go for Aplix personally.

Poppers for longevity, velcro for wriggliness

I prefer nippa

Aplix annoys me by catching on everything, and DS can undo it if he is wandering round in just a nappy. Poppers are less adjustable, but more secure and less snaggy.

Hence why I use the nippas - no snagging and lots of adjustability - you can't get nippa tots bamboo though.

I agree with aplix for a wriggly baby and poppers for lasting better than aplix. What size B are you going for and what age/weight is baby?

I was going to go for bamboo simply through mother and baby mag recommendation. But I'm open to anything. I hate disposables and really want to switch. But I dont have a clue when it comes to cloth nappies. I was expecting a nappy pin! LOL And all those other accesories - very confusing.
My DS2 is 6 months, he's quite a big baby (not fat I might add) just big built so was going for size 2 as he is cracking on for 19lb +. He is on the move too.

I would say size 2 applix nappies with popper wraps then - you get more adjustment on the legs and tummy with popper wraps for chunky babies and they should last him through to potty training.

Have had the aplix bamboozles since DD was tiny and have not had any probs.
I prefer the Motherease wraps to the Totsbots ones though, they fit better and are 'softer' and more comfortable around the waist and leg bands.

Not even useful!

You need a nappy bucket and a couple of mesh bags for the bucket. A few drops of tea tree oil on the bag will de-smell and de-bug the bag and the nappies. The reason you need two bags is so that one can be in the bucket and one in the wash.

Great - think I'm on track now. Like the look of the bambino ones - seem less complicated to choose than the totsbots!

They are much higher in the rise/longer tabs than the tots, so last that bit longer

I bought kushies but they didn't fit my LO well. Sold them and bought a fluffle, some terrys' and some motherease birth to potty size poppers. The motherease are great. I've also got some terry velcro ones but they catch on everything and don't wash half as well as the motherease. I got anti-bacterial (envir friendly) soak from perfectly happy people and it stops the place from smelling - some poeple dry basin though and add tea tree oil. I'd recommend the motherease. By a few different ones and see which ones suit your LO best.
