Give me hope re tantrums

I have a wonderful, bright 3.7 year old girl who is at risk of daily tantrums. They tend to occur after dinner when she's very tired. Triggers include tiredness and sugar. We have minimised sugar but can escape the tiredness. I have realised that hugging her can sometimes diffuse the tantrum but not always. I feel like they're worse than ever. She's very bright and I think it's mainly from frustration.

My question is, did anyone have a child who had terrible tantrums at this age and did they ever STOP???!!! If so when/how? Thanks.

What time is dinner and bedtime?

Dinner is at 6pm. Bath at 7pm. Bed by 7.30pm. She wakes up anywhere between 7am and 8am.

Can you bring your timings forward?

It gets better OP! Or at least, they can be reasoned with as they get older!

What about a wind down routine after dinner? Keep everything very low key, etc. Or can you do bath before dinner? That way you can go from dinner, to teeth, story, lights out.
