Best phone / screentime tool - Qustodio v Parental Board

My DS is about to get his first phone and I'm looking for a suitable parental control system to put time limits and also monitor / control the content he can access.

Does anyone have any experience of using Qustodio or Parental Board for this? Or would recommend something different entirely? If there anything that works but is less visible / intrusive for the child in terms of their image with their peers as a newly independent phone user :) ?

Any feedback would be great - I'm not sure if I'm quite ready for this brave new world of DS and phones!

Secretarchersaddict the old most popular parental control apps like Qustodio and mSpy.com are good enough, I admit. But I came across another one Kidgy, which says it is less a parental control app but rather a digital family assistant. Suppper cheap ($10 bucks) but only works on Android, here is the link to the store: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kidgy.android&hl=en

Hope it helps
