Baby outgrowing bouncer... so what now ??

My 6 month old is getting too big for his bouncer, he's quite big for his age and just lately while in it he can fling himself forward and I'm worried he will topple over in it.
We have a bumbo which he's not keen on, he's not quite sitting unaided yet.. can roll around but that's about it...he's at the inbetween stage... any suggestions what else I could sit him in ???? It's a shame as he loves to have his naps in bouncer but I'm
Now worried about putting him in it xx

We bought the bjorn babysitter which is a bouncer that reclines and goes up to age 2, she was too big for her first one, wish we'd bought it first!

Not for naps but the jumperoo or similar is great.

We had an inflatable doughnut thing, and we just propped them up with loads of cushions in case they did that slow topple to one side 😃

Inflatable donut thing here too!

Galt playnest is an inflatable ring. I chuck toys in for my 6 month old. She can sit now with the occasional wobble but before she used to kind of recline in it. Also jumperoo or other activity centre that they "stand" in is good.

Actually she's also fond of sitting in her IKEA antilop highchair with a highchair toy suckered onto the tray.
And I got DP to drill a hole into the side of the tray so we can attach toys with those links so they don't fall onto the floor when dropped. Also handy for sippy cups Smile

Don't want to worry you but bouncers can only hold up to 9kg and shouldn't be used when they can sit up.

We had two mishaps with leaning forward and tipping over before we decided no more. I don't know why I waited, I think I thought he'd stop doing it.

The bumbo type seats are also tippable if baby is leaning forward. I'd get one with an attachable table or get something he/she can sit in like a jumperoo or a door bouncer where they can't tip themselves out of. My son is 7 months and loves to either be in his door bouncer or just sat on the floor playing with toys

We had the fisher price infant to toddler chair

We have the babybjorn bouncer that goes up to 2 and she also has a gym to sit in which you can make higher as she grows

Get a jumperoo. They are fab.

Inflatable doughnut ring from mothercare! My baby has had it since birth and loves it. It's a bear which he can sit in and used to sleep in!
