Playing with 2 year old and 11 month old

I have a 2.5 year old and an almost 11 month old. The older one is getting into playing with things, while the younger one is solely intent on destroying things.

How the hell do I keep them apart?! It's impossible and the screaming/crying/whining is reaching stratospheric levels...

Any tips to keep them apart? (Distracting doesn't work for the baby, and the older one likes me to play with him so the baby always comes over too)

No help from me but watching with interest. I have 23 months and 4 months, OK atm but keen for clues as to how to keep both happy in future!

Baby jail for the older ones toys so he can shut gate and have his own little private 'house' if you put sheet on top for his toys

Tv for older one whilst younger one plays

Younger one sleeps then play with older one

Enforce lots of turn taking and no snatching rule - be consistent and firm.

Two of everything they play with lots!!

Also get our house - go to park, classes etc being home the worst with them / it's much easier out
