I did an Access to Primary Teaching a couple of years ago if thats a help, what do you need to know?

Not sure really, just generally how you found it, the workload etc and wether it was useful having done it when you went onto uni.

I really enjoyed the course it gave me a lot of confidence as I found it fairly easy though not too easy if you know what I mean - there was still a bit of a challenge. There were some people who found it tough, but I think that was more because English was their 2nd language, and God knows I couldn't have done it in another language!

Unfortunately I can't really say whether it was useful in terms of then going on to uni as I decided that I'd make a terrible teacher and didn't carry on, however I have recently done a maths course with OU and having done the Access course gave me the confidence to do that and alot of the maths I did on the Access really helped.

Also I wouldn't have been able to go to uni as I didn't do my A levels, the access course gave me an automatic entry to Goldsmiths uni (obviously only because I passed the course!).

Let me know if theres anything else I can help with.
