Can someone talk me through Pampers Baby-Dry Pants?!

So, I bought a huge box of 72 baby dry pants as they were on offer and have no idea how to use them without making a terrible mess! Is there some sort of technique for how to take them off and change them?? Especially when there's poo involved.

I like the idea in principle. My daughter is 13m and not yet walking but crawling about like crazy. When the pants are on, they're great.

I watched my husband change one this morning (luckily only pee) and he ended up pulling it down and turning it inside out!!

I tried later on and managed to get poo all over her legs. Please help!

Rip the sides off

I have no idea but I was wondering the same thing! I had an email from pampers saying that most parents start using the pants between 6-9 months... my DD (6 months) only wears trousers if we're going outside as it takes about 10 minutes to get them on with her flapping about like a fish! Trying to put a pair of pants on whilst she's got a bare butt is my idea of hell, let alone trying to keep the poo contained on removal

Tear the sides and treat like a nappy. That's why we never bothered with them. They are just a nappy by another name.

They tear down the sides then you roll them up and there's a little plastic tab that you can use to seal them. I don't get the point though as you have to take their trousers off which makes it way more faff than a nappy!

I was thinking about doing that. Are they designed to rip easily? As in, is this the way they are supposed to be taken off?

Yes!

Yep rip them off at the sides and roll up and secure with the sticky tab thing on the back.
Standing up nappy changes are much easier with them.
I think they are possibly the best baby related invention tbh, I don't know how anyone gets a toddler to stay still long enough to faff about with tabs etc on normal nappies.

I use the Lidl nappy pants - DD pulls the tapes open on normal nappies. I just rip the seam at the sides to get them off in the event of a poo.

There are two reasons for using them.

First they're handy when your baby goes through the PITA running away phase whilst you're trying to change them.

Second when you start to potty train them so they can just pull the nappy up and down to go for a wee.

Just rip them off! The sides have a special seam.

I like them for wriggly 10m Dd. Easier to get on than a nappy as she flips and rolls.

I also think they sit under clothes better especially when she isn't wearing a vest to keep everything tucked in, which has been often now the weather is warmer!
