Gah!! Every time DS rolls onto his front, he screams. He wants to move. He can't roll back yet. I roll him back over, within about three seconds he back on his front screaming. It's been ALL DAY

Tell me it gets better once they're moving

It gets better. Differently hard at times. But better.

Stop rolling him back, he'll work it out quicker.

I can't not roll him back. He really squeals and sounds so cross! He doesn't mind being on his tummy but is trying to commando crawl or something.

Do I really just leave him?

That sounds like he's trying to work it out. Leave him and put a toy just out of his reach. My DD crawled before she rolled.

I find it's balancing letting them get frustrated while trying and recognising when they have had enough, distracting and encouragement with a toy helps mine try for longer before it gets too much.

Yes it's one of those design faults in babies! Think yourself lucky - when DD1 learnt to roll she did it every 30min all through the night and had to be rolled back!

Just leave him to it unless he's really mad. The more they practise the quicker they'll learn!
