Hi

Its our son's 13th birthday very soon and I'd like to get him a selection of 13 presents to represent becoming a teenager and I'd really like help with ideas!

They don't have to be expensive gifts. I was thinking along the lines of:
Deodorant
Clearasil face wash
Nando's voucher for lunch
A book (?) about dealing with your parents as a teen
Cinema tickets
Trendy t-shirt

What else? Your ideas will be very much appreciated!

How about something to go on a keychain? Like the mini multi tool here:

Or a silver and leather bracelet? There's loads to choose from on Amazon.

Or a voucher to get his hair done at a trendy barber or hairdresser and give him carte blanche with the style.

I wouldn't get him anything that might be interpreted as a weapon.

Maybe a good razor system?

pmsl, just read my post back. I didn't mean a cut-throat razor lol. Gillette Mach Fusion is in my head for some unknown reason.

DS is 13

He would like vouchers for places he could go with friends, so Nando's, Costa etc. We've just noticed he's starting to get a bit of fuzz but was horrified when we suggested buying him a razor!!!

Rubix cube (new shapes out?)
Messenger bag (if he hasn't got one already)
Personalised mousemat (photo shops online do them)
Cool key ring (guitar/ sport etc)
Silly emoticon cushion
Hair gel
Hot chocolate mug with mini marshmallows / milk shake maker
