Sorry this is a long post just need advice. I have a 7yr old lb. he is a twin.

He has glue ear amd wears a hearing aid. Since he was a baby he has had unusual behaviour. (Bad mum coz I have only just started to realise) when he learnt to sit up he used to bang his head all the time on the floor. He head butted the bars off his safety gate. He has obsessions with things. At the minute it is Xbox and reading. He reads everything including take away menus. He wakes up regardless of what time he goes to bed between 2am and 5am every night and gets ready for school and watches tv altho i do tell him off with this. He has 4 meals a day with snacks in between yet sneaks down in the night for food every night. He doesn't care that he has eaten 2 packs of biscuits (I now have to hide them). Please tell me this is solvable because I'm at my wits
End. Don't know what to do. I'm at the gp in 2 weeks and he is referring me to who or for what I don't know 😢😢😢

Have you considered additional needs, this is possibly what the referral is for. Is it to CAHMS?

Have school ever mentioned that he needs more support?

Only because of his hearing aid. He is very quiet in school so they don't see much tbh. I am exhausted with him. He eats so much. Much more than any child I know. And to get up and eat at 2am onwards is worrying me more. He is at speech therapy on Wednesday so I am going to mention this x
