Is anyone else concerned that Snapchat has introduced 'snap map', where by, unless you change your settings, your 'friends' can see exactly where you are? I am. Especially when they know they have so many young users.

Absolutely, that's a concern. Snapchat say the app is not intended for under 13's, and I'd stick to that, no matter how much the kids complain! 13 and up, it's just really important to make sure you and the kids are aware of the dangers of online communication.
