Hi guys,

Just want to know what people's age gaps are between children? I've got a 2.5 year old an almost 10 month old and I've just found out I'm pregnant with my third there's 20months between my first 2 and there will be 18 months between my second and third! I'm absolutely dreading it!! has anyone else got really small age gaps between 3 children??

Thanks in advance ladies Smile

I've just had my third three days ago. 17 month gap. So far I can say it's been amazing, terrifying and overwhelming in equal measures. I think it's going to be a long summer!

I have small age gaps between 4 dc. 19, 20 and 22 months.

It's funny, people do make a big deal of it, however it's fine. One dc has additional needs and that's challenging, and is much more difficult than actually having 4 dc.

I have three with a small age gap. It's not as bad as people say. They are older now and I love the fact that they are close in age.

14 month gap between 2x ds. . Twice.

20 month gap between ds +dd
15 month gap between dd +dd
Hope that makes sense!!

I absolutely agree with this. I have a 12 month gap from DC1-2 and the gap is fine, in fact at 9 & 10 it's really good now. They're into the same things and get along well most of the time.

The fact that DC1 has ASD is by far the most challenging part of all parenting. I had all 4 DC within 7 years and the younger three are a breeze (even DS3 who also has ASD).

Snap mrsjoy! Dd2 has ASD/PDA. Dd4 quite possibly has ASD also, she is being assessed next month. Dd4 is much easier to manage!
