Hi, I have a 7 week old baby and a red kite travel cot which is quite. Low to the floor, my little one Hates the moses basket but loves the sleepyhead, she has a chicco next2me for the bedroom, this just for living room, as I want to get her used to travel cot as going away soon, I have put the sleepyhead inside the travel cot, it's still quite low what do you think

Do you mean it's difficult for you to put her in & out?

You can get travel cots with bassinette inserts but your baby may well already be too old to use one. Most travel cots are just a few inches off the floor.

Why wouldn't it be ?

Not clear on the issue

It is fine. Some travel cots come with a higher level though for newborns if you want them to be higher up, nearer to your bed level. Or you can get smaller crib ones which are higher up. This one is standard though.

FuckyDuck · 14/06/2017 07:43

It's fine, she'll be shielded from any draft by the sides of the sleepyhead

Timetogrowup2016 · 14/06/2017 07:57

Sorry post sounded a bit harsh above .

It's absolutely safe to have her sleeping in that yes .

Normal cot beds can also be lowered to that level which is where it will be when baby can pull to stand but you can have them. Sleeping low down at any age

Cakescakescakes · 14/06/2017 07:58

It's totally fine

Flisspaps · 14/06/2017 07:58

That's a perfectly normal travel cot and safe for a baby to use Smile
