I have just moved house and find that my two Baby Dan stair gates don't work in my new house! The width of the stairs at the base of the stair gate is 81cm and the top of the stair gate is 85cm. I don't seem to be able to extend the top bit enough to fit the space and i can't use the extension kit i also own as this extends both top and bottom and makes the gate too big to fit the gap.
Has anyone encountered this VERY annoying problem?! I cannot be the only person in the world how has found this? Is there ANY way of only extending the top of the stairgates?? or any models that cater for stairs which are wider at the top than at the bottom!?
