Recommend a book "child psychology"

Can anyone recommend an easy to read book on child psychology, at least I think it's the right subject. I've heard that children only feel guilt (the feeling of knowing they're doing something wrong) at the age of 3. So I'm looking for a book which will touch on these kind of subjects in a child's development. Anyone out there know of one?

How children fail - john holt. Don't know if it's too education based though. Haven't read it in years but do remember someone recommending it on here not long ago.
