I just measured my 3 year old. She is 3.3 feet. That's 1.005 meters. Does this mean she won't go in free?

I had to pay full price when my daughter was 1 meter 2.5cm. Very annoying. They have sticks that the children need to fit under.

Tell her to hunch over a bit Grin

Justfivemoreminutesplease · 06/06/2017 20:37

Yes as I remember it my DD had to walk under an open door type thing and if she had to bend or it was obvious that she couldn't walk straight under it without the top of her head touching the top of the door hole thingie, she was charged. They had the door holes by every gate to get into the park. They seem to have thought of everything....

You'll be fine - children naturally duck slightly to walk under things - we were slightly over 1m depending on shoes last year and got in for free as DD tucked her head in.

Watto1 · 06/06/2017 20:44

They were very strict when we went. They made ds get out of his pushchair to measure him. Although he was under the height in his socks, his shoes put him marginally over. We had to pay.

Watto1 · 06/06/2017 20:46

It was a measuring stick they used, rather than a door when we went (about 3 years ago I think)

Thanks all. Do you think this Saturday is worth it? Considering the weather forecast of dark clouds and rain?

Presumably if she's tall enough to pay, she'll be able to go on more rides?

Dingalingalingaling · 09/06/2017 22:43

Sounds fairer than charging by age.

TeenAndTween · 09/06/2017 22:46

Sat's forecast for Romsey is good www.xcweather.co.uk/forecast/romsey

Thanks! We are going x

1m is the height restriction for lots of their rides. So you may have to pay but your dc will be able to go on more things.

despacito · 10/06/2017 16:40

We didn't pay she was ok to go In

Hope you had fun.

What rides did she like best?
