Hi
My 2 sons ( 11/13) are Xbox craaaaazy!!!
I feel its hard to get the balance between whats ok time for them to use and whats waaaaay too much.
Typically they arent allowed on the Xbox during the week unless they have done homework etc or spent 30 mins after dinner reading or doing something non electrical.
11 yr usually plays for 1 1/2 hours & 13 usually 2 hours.
They both come off 30 mins before they go to read before bed
11 @ 8.00 - lights out 8.30
13 @ 8.30 - lights out 9.00ish.
Weekend no Xbox until homework/chores done Saturday..then we limit it to hour here and there ..we try to go out n about to offer an alternative.
Sunday same really...out and about so will limit to couple of hours here and there.
Any thought tips?? Are we being too lax? Are we doing ok?
Both my partner and I feel they use it too much.
Thought please x

My DS uses his more but sone evenings isn't on it due to homework or sport. The big difference from when I was young much too long ago is that I went out to meet my friends, DS talks to his through a mic on the Xbox.
