ATHENS PASSWORD... WHERE DO I GET IT AT?

Hi

I remember the librarian telling me mine one day in the library, but I can't remember it now I know I wrote it down that day but can't find it now.

The Uni is closed today so I can't even call & ask what it is.

Am in the middle of a psychology assignment & want to read a bit from an online journal..

Does anyone know where else I could find out what it is. If I ring my friend, are ours the same p/words?

I had to email the Athens person at our university and they sent back a password. I think it was specific to me and not generic to the university but I could be wrong. Is the library closed as well as the uni?

Yes usually the library hold it, although they should have emailed it to you as well. If you find out your friend's you can usually work out yours ie it's university code and student code combined for the username and your date of birth as a password (for example- depends on your institution). Or borrow your friend's. But as a librarian, I did not say that of course. Marina'll report me to the CILIP police.

I was going to say that, soh, but i was too scared marina would read it and tell me off! Feel better now that a bona fide librarian has said it instead.

Yes, the library is closed as well as the Uni

I was calling my friend, but she must have went home for the wknd [Dundalk] & her phone doesn't work in the south!!

Might look the library website & see if it gives any links or clues as to what it might be!

Oh yes, university librarian. Although the crack team of experts who watch my every move are probably going to boot me out for suggesting you use somebody else's login. I plead pregnancy though. I wasn't in my right mind at the time. ScummyMummy made me do it.

Glad you found it too, ff. Have fun. I spent hours being distracted by amazing articles on Athens while I was doing my dreaded dissertation.

I can't get my head around this assignment anyway. I am actually a journalism student & love that part. But I have a minor in psychology & as I am a minor we don't have to do the lab reports etc regarding the statistics etc.. we have to write an essay.

Have read the literature. It all contradicts each other..... so can I just say that?? 5 words.. hm, just about 1995 words too little
