Hi
I just need some reasurance from anyone who has a close age gap.
I have a 7year old son and my daughter is 9months now and Im 10weeks pregnant, not planned but happy. I'm just worried about how hard it will be to manage two littles ones, will I need a double pram? Im still breastfeeding her and its taking it out of me, Im returning to work tomro so just alot on my mind and wondering how others have managed?

I found out I was expecting when DC was five months. But I had stopped feeding by then but went back to work a few weeks after and worked up until two weeks before DC 2 arrived. So at that stage I was working full time, had a 14 month old and expecting a baby imminently. It was totally doable.

To be fair, I havent had much time to myself but they are nearly three and nearly four now and I survived.

Batch cook. Out of the house as much as possible buggy and online shopping

I had a similar age gap, it's tough, I had two still waking in the night, two still in nappies and yes you will need a double buggy - unless you drive almost everywhere.
However it's nice because they generally are easy to entertain together. They'll always have a playmate.
I actually went on to have another one with a similar age gap and while it was completely mental at the time I wouldn't change a thing!
Just be prepared to lower your standards for a while, and go easy on yourself, you'll feel guilty for leaving the baby to cry a bit too long while you sort toddler and then feel guilty for leaving your toddler watching tv/playing alone while you spend time sorting the baby! Trust me they won't care and they'll love having a sibling close in age (most of the time anyway!!)
