Chicken pox tips

Ds has come out in chicken pox this morning. He seems absolutely fine in himself so far. I've given him piriton and put calamine cream on. Any tips to help along the way?

I actually was told that calamine stops the spots from drying out which is what they need to do to heal. I used bicarb in the bath when my twins had it and then put Virasoothe on the spots and they cleared up in 2-3 days
