So.. Dd is nearly 8 months, having some solids but mainly bottle fed. She has not ever been breast fed ( issues at birth) . Lately she has become very picky about her milk, she won't drink if a lot is going on in the room or if we are out and about. Now she has started not taking a bottle from anyone else, including husband! Question is how do we stop this? In laws used to watch her a lot, haven't for a while and they are looking after her for 2 days next month ! Help! Confused

If they are looking after her for two days next month, will you be around at any point? Mine were bf but were bottle refusers but at 9 months I could leave them in the day and bf morning and on pick up. They were fine with that.

Have you tried leaving her for a couple of hours with your DH or your DILs? If she won't take a bottle from them, could they try her with a cup?

It might be worth asking MNHQ to move your thread to Infant Feeding. You might get a few more responses Smile

I don't have any suggestions but my dd is exactly the same. Over 2 days with your parents she might drink if she is really hungry and you ask them to do it in a quiet room?
