How do I put a picture of something on here, you know so you click on a blue word and it opens it?

Try Google .
Click on 'IMAGE' then type the thing you want a picture of, (Example with dog).
Click again on the Image you want, and it will open the webpage you'll find the image on.
If you click on the small original image it will appear on it's own.
Then follow the instructions for a link, using cut and paste to insert the picture address in the 'url' part.
For the 'description' add the word you want to appear in blue

Hope that helps, although I'm a bit confused reading it ????

I'll watch the thread and help again, if I can

Do you mean a photograph of your child, for example? In Member profiles?

Or do you mean a link to a picture already on the Internet, elsewhere?

Rosie - if the picture in question is currently on your PC you will need to upload it to a website first - if you don't have anywhere else to put it you could put it on your MN profile?

You can either put pictures on your profile by using My Mumsnet or you can use an online photo hosting site and then post a link to that. Check out sites like Photobox or villagephotos.com

oops

Sorry

Think I misunderstood the question

exbury · 16/03/2007 18:10

dawg - it's equally likely I misunderstood it - I was just trying to cover all possibilities
