Is my baby teething?

My son is 12 weeks old today. Over the last few weeks, he's found his hands and they are constantly in his mouth. Like, a LOT. He's also dribbling loads and when he's over our shoulder, our tops are saturated. He seems to become unsettled the last few night. He's put himself into a routine the last few weeks of having a bottle and falling straight to sleep about 7.30ish but the last few evenings, he's become extremely grizzly and will only settle when we walk him around for ages. Tonight he's cried for 2 hours Sad we've tried all of the obvious signs, temp is fine etc. He's finally exhausted himself and fallen to sleep on DP's shoulder. I've tried checking his gums and I think the bottom gums are showing signs but I can only see for a millisecond as he's turns his head towards my hand more to start sucking/chewing on it.

Could it be teething? If so, what can I do for him?

Get some anbesol liquid and rub on babies gums. Much better than the gel which just slides off. Also cold wet flannels in the fridge for a while are good for chewing on and cold teething rings. Could try teething powders too and at a last ditch attempt teething bracelets (not sure if they work or not)

My little girl is just over 1 and I give her ibuprofen for babies now when she is badly teething. When your little one is older you should be able to give this for the pain. Not sure what age they can have it maybe over 6 months?

Also constant crying and whinging in the evening might be the witching hour too which they also grow out of by about 8 months.

Hope this helps!
